Notwithstanding anything contained to the contrary in any law relating to cooperative societies in force in a State, a Multi State Cooperative Society , not being a co-operative bank, may open branches or places of business in any place in India. Where an appeal is made under section 99 of Multi State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002, the appellate authority may, in order to prevent the ends of justice being defeated, make such interlocutory orders, including an order of stay pending the decision of the appeal as such authority may deem fit in cooperative society unary note And case in law .Interlocutory orders are also somewhat similar to temporary injunctions.

Place of keeping and inspection of registers and returns of Multi State Cooperative Society of members commencing from the date of the (1) registration of Multi state cooperative society the index of members, the register of debenture holders, and copies of all annual returns prepared together with the copies of certificates and documents, shall be kept at the registered office of the multi state cooperative society.
