(l) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, if any dispute touching the constitution, management or business of a Multi State cooperative society arises (a) among members, liability of Past Member and Estate of Deceased Member and persons claiming through members, past members and deceased members, or (b) between a member, past member and persons claiming through a member, past member or deceased member and the multi state cooperative society, its board or any officer, agent or employee of the multi State cooperative society or liquidator, past or present, or (c) between the Multi state cooperative society or its board and any past board, any officer, agent or employee, or any past officer, past agent or past employee, heirs or legal representatives of any deceased officer, deceased agent or deceased employee of the multi state cooperative Societies, or
(d) between the multi state cooperative society and any other cooperative societies, between a multi state cooperative society and liquidator of other multi state cooperative societies or between the liquidator of one credit cooperative society and the liquidator of other Multi state cooperative societies, such dispute shall be referred to arbitration
. (3) If any question arises whether a dispute referred to arbitration under this section is or is not a dispute touching the constitution, management or business of a multi state cooperative society.
(4) Where a dispute has been referred to arbitration under sub-section (1), the same shall be settled or decided by the arbitrator to be appointed by the Central Registrar.
(5) Save as otherwise provided under cooperative societies Act, 2002, the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (26 of 1996) shall apply to all arbitration under this Act as if the proceedings for arbitration were referred for settlement or decision under the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.a society, its committee, any past committee, any past or present officer, any past or present agent, any past or present servant or nominee heir or legal representative of any deceased officer, deceased agent or deceased servant of the society, or the Liquidator of the society 5[or the official Assignee of a registered society. The period of limitation in the case of any other dispute except those mentioned in the foregoing sub-section which are required to be referred to the co-operative Court under the last preceding section shall be regulated by the provisions of the Limitation Act, 1963] as if the dispute were a suit and the Conditions to be Complied with for Membership by a Civil Court.
