Filing of returns Multi state cooperative society 

Every year within six months of the closure of the accounting year every cooperative society shall file the following returns with the Central Registrar, namely
(a) annual report of the activities;
(b) audited statements of accounts;
(c) plan for surplus disposal as approved by the general body;
(d) list of amedments of the multi state cooperative society;
(e) declaration regarding date of holding of general body meeting and conduct of elections where due;
(f) any other information required by the Central Registrar in pursuance of any of the provisions of the Multi State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002.It is compulsory for every company to furnish return of income. Every person, other than a company, whose total income from all sources of income exceeds the maximum amount which is not chargeable to income tax in any previous year ending on 31st March, is liable to file the Income-tax Return. The maximum limit of income not chargeable to tax under the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961 in Rs. 1,10,000 (except in case of resident women below 65 years of age and resident senior citizens above 65 years of age) for assessment year 2008-09.
