Restriction on other transactions with non-members of multi state cooperative society save as provided in sections 66 and 67, the transaction of a multi state cooperative society with any person other than a member, shall be subject to such prohibitions and restrictions, if any, as may be specified in the bye-laws of the multi state cooperative societies Act, 2002. A certificate of registration signed by the registrar shall be conclusive evidence that the society therein mentioned is duly registered unless it is proved that the registration of the society has been cancelled. In respect of any debt due to a society by any member thereof, the society shall have a charge upon the share or interest of such member in the capital of the society, upon the deposits of such member with the society and upon any dividend, rebate or profits payable to such member; and the society may set off any sum credited or payable to such member in or towards the payment of any such debt. Provided that, no cooperative bank shall have a charge upon any sum invested with it by a society out of the provident and established by it under section 72 and no cooperative bank shall be entitled to set off any such sum towards any debts due from the society. Share or contribution or interest not liable to attachment. Subject to the provisions of section 38, the share or contribution or interest of a member or past member or deceased member in the capital of a cooperative society shall not be liable to attachment or sale under any decree or order of any court in respect of any debt or liability incurred by such member, and a receiver under the Provincial Insolvency Act, 1920 (5 of 1920) shall not be entitled to or have any claim on such share or contribution or interest .On the execution of such agreement, the employer shall, if so required by the co-operative society by a requisition in writing and so long as the society does not intimate that the whole of such debt or demand has been paid, make the deduction in accordance with the agreement and pay the amount so deducted to the society, as if it were a part of the salary or wages payable on the day as required under the Payment of Wages Act, 1936.
