A cooperative society admit joint members based upon the declaration made by the person whose name first in the share certificate stating that only first person shall have right to vote other rights shall be enjoyed jointly, and shares and liabilities will be borne joint severally by all the members. In ease of group housing/house building society, membership shall be restricted to only person in first degree blood relations (i.e. mother, brother, sister, son, daughter and also spouse). Our joint memberships are for any two adults from the same family living at the same address. Each Friend receives their own card. Joint Friends receive one copy of Kew magazine. Please remember that cards are for use by the named individual only and are not transferable.
A number of complaints have been received to the effect that the communications sent by the Presidents/Secretaries of the cooperative society specially Group Housing/House Building Cooperative Societies to the Members under Certificate of Posting, had not been received by the Members. It was also brought to the notice that as a result of such communications stated to have been sent by post under Postal Certificate action for admission/cessation, expulsion and resignation etc. against members was taken by Managing Committee of these Cooperative Societies. It was alleged by the concerned members to whom such communications were reported to have been sent by U.P.C. that in fact the communications were not sent to them.
The multi state cooperative society should ensure that the multi state society does not admit members within one to the date of meeting of the general body you’ll need to bring your valid membership card each time you wish to visit the Gardens. If you don’t have your card with you, unfortunately you will have to pay the entry price, which cannot be refunded.
When visiting with a family member, just show your valid membership card at the entrance gate and you will gain free entry for yourself and your family guest to the Gardens. Free entry is limited to one adult family guest per member on each visit (children under 17 have free entry to the Gardens).
