Repeal and savings in cooperative society :- (1) The cooperative society registration are hereby repealed. (2) Not with standing such repeal, anything done or any action taken under and the rules so repealed shall, unless such thing or action is inconsistent with the provisions of these rules, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of these rules. Where any such cooperative society establishes a branch or place of business in other than that in which it is actually registered, it shall within six months from the date of establishment of the branch or place of business furnish to the Registrar of multi state society of the in which such branch or place of business is situated a copy of its registered bye-laws, and shall at any time it is required to do so by the said registrar submit any returns and supply any information which the said Registrar might require to be submitted or supplied to him by a cooperative society actually registered in that state Provided that, the repeal shall not affect the previous operation of the Act so repealed and anything done or action taken or deemed to have been done or taken (including any appointment or delegation made, application or other document filed, certificate of registration granted, agreements executed, notification, order, direction or notice issued, regulation, form or by-law framed, rule made or deemed to be made or proceeding instituted before any Registrar, arbitrator, liquidator or tribunal or other officer, authority or person) by or under the provisions of that Act, shall, in so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act, and shall continue in force unless and until superseded by anything done or any action taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act, and shall continue in force unless and until superseded by anything done or any action taken under this Act. Provided further that the members of a District Co-operative Bank other than Primary Agricultural credit societies and Urban Co-operative Banks as on the date of commencement of the Karalla Co-operative Societies (Amendment of bye laws of a multi state cooperative society) Act, 2008 shall become nominal or associate members of such District Co-operative Banks at such commencement; The State Government and the Registrar may, soot or on the application of a party to a reference, call for and examine the record of any proceedings in which no appeal under section 68 lies to the Government or the Registrar, as the case may be, for the purpose of satisfying itself or himself as to the legality or property of any decision or order passed and if in any case it appears to the Government or the Registrar that any such decision or order should be modified, annulled or revised, the Government or the Registrar, as the case may be, may, after persons affected thereby an opportunity of being heard, pass such order thereon as it or he may deem fit in multi state cooperative societies.
