Where an inquiry is made under sub-section (I), the Central may, after giving the person concerned a reasonable opportunity heard, make an order requiring him to repay or restore the money any part thereof, with interest at such rate, or to pay costs or compensation to such extent, as the Central may consider just and equitable. Central Registrar is empowered to assess damages person who has taken part in the organization or management of any past or present member or officer of the society who has retained or become liable or accountable for any money or property who has been guilty of misfeasance or breach of trust or willful relation to the cooperative societies.
