(1) The provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969 apply to the multi state societies. (2) The multi state society registered or registered under the provisions of this Act shall not indulge in mono and restrictive trade practices as defined in the Monopolies and Trade Practices Act, 1969. Provisions of the Indemnity under multi state cooperative societies Act, 2002 Act are word to word identical to of the 1984.
