The certification of copies of entries in books regularly kept in the course of its business shall if certified in such as may be prescribed, be received in any suit or legal proceedings as facie evidence of the existence of such entry and shall be admitted as evict. of the matters, transactions and accounts therein recorded in every. where, and to the same extent, as the original entry itself is admissible officer of a multi state society and no officer in the books of a cooperative society are deposited ration shall, in any legal proceedings to which the society or the not a party, be compelled to produce any of the society books the contents of which can be proved under this section, or it witness to prove the matters, transactions and accounts therein except under an order of a court or an arbitrator made for a special of the 1984 Act. certified copy of any entry in a book regularly kept by a society can be court in any legal proceeding as an evidence which shall be admitted of matters, transactions and accounts recorded in every case. an entry in a book of society shall bear the seal of the multi state cooperative society. procedure of certifying copies of entries in books has been laid Rule 22 of the cooperative Societies Rules, 2002. According a copy of any entry in a book of a multi state cooperative society kept in the course of its business is to be certified by the Chief or officer authorized by the bye-laws of the society. Where an order 2en passed under Section 123 superseding the Board and appointing an .start or the certification is to be done by administrator or any other authorized by him. Where an order has been passed under sub-section: appointing a liquidator of the  cooperative society deification is to be done by the liquidator. Every certified copy shall bear the signature of the Chief Executive or erector or authorized officer and seal of the credit cooperative society The charges to be levied for the supply of a certified copy shall be in the bye-laws of the multi state society and in absence a provision in the cooperative society bye laws a fee of rupees two per folio shall be levied. No officer of multi state cooperative society or an officer under whose .books of multi state cooperative society are deposited after liquidation be compelled to produce any books of the society or any document which be proved under this section. Such officer can also not be compelled to appear as a witness. However the permission of the court or an arbitrator made for a special cause can be compelled to produce documents and to appear as a witness.
